Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped shiitake mushrooms, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly using your hands or a spatula.
- Take a dumpling wrapper and place a tablespoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with a little water, fold the wrapper in half, and press it together to form a crescent shape. Pinch the edges to seal securely.
- Steam the dumplings by arranging them in a steamer basket over simmering water and steam for 15 minutes. Alternatively, pan-fry by heating oil in a skillet over medium heat, adding dumplings, cooking until golden brown, then adding water and covering to steam for an additional 5-7 minutes.
