Ingredients
Scale
1 can (8 oz) of refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 oz of cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup of granulated sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 large egg white (for egg wash, optional)
1 tablespoon of powdered sugar (for dusting)
Fruit preserves or fresh berries (for serving, optional)
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to preheat while you assemble your crescent rolls.
Carefully unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean, flat surface. Separate the triangles and arrange them with the wider end facing you.
Take a spoonful of the cream cheese filling and place it at the wide end of each crescent triangle. Be generous but avoid overfilling.
Starting at the wide end, gently roll each triangle toward the point, tucking in the filling as you go. Place the rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
If desired, beat the egg white and brush it over the tops of the rolls for a golden finish.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Enjoy the delightful aroma in your kitchen.
