  • Start by tenderizing the chicken breasts with a meat mallet or the back of a heavy pan. Soak the chicken in buttermilk for at least 15 minutes.
  • In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Whisk together to form a uniform mixture.
  • Remove the chicken from the buttermilk, allowing any excess liquid to drip off. Dredge in the seasoned flour, ensuring a thick coating.
