2 bags of black tea (Assam or Darjeeling)
1 cinnamon stick
5–6 cardamom pods
3–4 whole cloves
1 cup of milk (dairy or non-dairy alternatives, like almond or oat milk)
2 tablespoons of honey or sugar (or to taste)

Instructions
Start by boiling 2 cups of water in a saucepan. Once it’s boiling, turn off the heat and add the black tea bags, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, and cloves. Let it steep for 15 minutes.
Remove the tea bags and spices. Stir in your choice of sweetener while the tea is still warm.
Allow the sweetened tea to cool down to room temperature or refrigerate for about 10 minutes.
