Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds of live King Crab
1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 large potatoes, quartered
3 ears of corn, cut into halves
1 onion, quartered
4–5 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 cup of Old Bay seasoning
1 lemon, halved
Salt and pepper to taste
4 tablespoons of unsalted butter (optional)
Instructions
Gather all your ingredients together. Rinse the King crab and shrimp under cold water and set aside. Peel and chop your vegetables.
Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Add the quartered potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes. Then add the corn and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
Add the King crab, minced garlic, and Old Bay seasoning to the pot. Boil for another 15–20 minutes or until the crab is cooked through.
Add the shrimp to the pot and cook for 3–5 minutes until they turn pink.
Carefully drain the pot using a colander. Serve in a large bowl or directly onto a newspaper-lined table. Drizzle melted butter and squeeze fresh lemon juice on top.
