Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds of shrimp (medium to large, peeled and deveined)
1 pound of crab legs (snow or Dungeness, pre-cooked for convenience)
1 pound of andouille sausage (sliced into bite-sized pieces)
4 ears of corn (cut into thirds for easy handling)
1 tablespoon of Old Bay seasoning (for that iconic flavor)
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust based on heat preference)
1 cup unsalted butter (melted for the ultimate indulgence)
6 cloves of garlic (minced, because more is always better)
Juice of 1 lemon (for brightness)
Fresh parsley (chopped for garnish)
Instructions
In a large pot, bring approximately 4 quarts of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the andouille sausage and corn, cooking for about 10 minutes until slightly tender.
Next, stir in the shrimp and crab legs, and sprinkle the Old Bay seasoning and cayenne pepper over the mixture. Allow it to cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
While the seafood is cooking, melt the butter in a separate saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes, ensuring it does not burn. Stir in the lemon juice and remove from heat.
Once the shrimp and crab legs are cooked, carefully drain the pot and transfer the seafood and corn to a large serving platter. Drizzle the garlic butter sauce generously over the seafood. Garnish with fresh parsley for an added touch of flavor and aesthetics.
