Ingredients

  • 1 pound of andouille sausage, sliced
  • 2 medium-sized corn on the cob, halved
  • 1 pound of baby potatoes
  • 1 large onion, quartered
  • 5 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 46 cups of water
  • Salt to taste

  • Instructions

  • Gather all your ingredients. Rinse the shrimp and vegetables under cold water.
  • In a large pot, bring 4-6 cups of water to a rolling boil. Add baby potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes.
  • Add the sliced andouille sausage and corn halves to the pot. Let them simmer for another 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the shrimp, garlic, onion, Old Bay seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Cook for 3-5 minutes, until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • Remove from heat and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the mixture. Serve on a large platter or directly in the pot.
