Description
Indulge in a creamy Shrimp Alfredo Rice Bake, a savory dish that combines rich flavors for a satisfying meal experience. Perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients
Scale
2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2: In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil or butter. Once melted, toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp with a pinch of salt and pepper, sauté until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, sautéed shrimp, Alfredo sauce, Italian seasoning, and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Stir well to ensure everything is evenly coated.
Step 4: Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Pour the rice and shrimp mixture into the dish, spreading it out evenly. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Step 5: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. If desired, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for an extra crispy topping.
Step 6: Once baked, remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top before serving.
Notes
The Shrimp Alfredo Rice Bake combines creamy Alfredo sauce, succulent shrimp, and fluffy rice into a mouthwatering dish that will satisfy your cravings without taking all day to prepare.
