2 cups of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 cup of Greek yogurt
1 cup of cottage cheese
2–4 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of protein powder
1/4 cup of crushed graham crackers
A pinch of salt
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the hulled and sliced strawberries with 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to release their juices.
In a blender, combine the Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, remaining honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, protein powder, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Gently fold the macerated strawberries into the blended mixture, leaving some chunks for texture.
Incorporate the crushed graham crackers (or nuts) into the ice cream base.
Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and chill it in the refrigerator for about 60 minutes.
