1 lb of ground beef
1 cup of uncooked rice
2 cups of beef broth
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1 can of diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of pepper
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant. Then, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, approximately 6-8 minutes.
Once the beef is browned, stir in the rice, diced tomatoes, beef broth, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well to evenly distribute all ingredients.
Pour the beef and rice mixture into a lightly greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the top.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
